With the arrival of Corona, the situation changed and students were at home instead of school and experienced virtual education, and parents who were less involved in their children's education before, were forced to involve themselves in their children's education due to the Corona epidemic. do Therefore, parents played a role in the education of their children. The purpose of this research is to investigate the role of parents in the virtual education of children. The statistical population of the research includes the parents of first grade students (grades 1, 2, and 3) of Qorveh schools, who experienced virtual education during the Corona era. Due to the fact that the academic year 1399-1400 was held virtually, our criterion is that the student in this academic year is the first year. Students with these characteristics were studying in the third, fourth and fifth grades in the academic year of conducting the research (1402-1401), that is why the parents of the students of these grades were used.The current research is quantitative based on a survey model. Sampling was of a consolidated type. Data collection was done through a researcher-made questionnaire. To create the questionnaire, the existing theoretical knowledge and researches on the subject of parents in virtual education were used, and finally an eight-dimensional questionnaire that includes: follow-up of virtual education by parents, children's interest in virtual education, Opportunities of virtual education, challenges of virtual education, communication with teaching staff and teachers, communication between parents and students, access to online education and general opinions of parents about online education were designed.The findings of the current research examine parents' opinions in eight dimensions. Regarding the dimensions of virtual education follow-up by parents and virtual education opportunities, the average opinion of parents was above 4, which means they agreed very much; In the dimensions of children's interest in virtual education, the challenges of virtual education, communication with the teaching staff and teachers, and access to online education, the opinions show an average above 3, which shows that parents agree with the items of these dimensions, and in Finally, in the two dimensions of parents' communication with students and parents' general opinions, the number was less than 3, which indicated that the parents' general view of virtual education and the difficult communication of parents with students were not positive in this era. Then, the correlation between different dimensions was investigated using Spearman's test. After that, the difference in parents' opinions according to gender was investigated using the U-Man-Whitney test, which showed the difference in the opinions of mothers and fathers in virtual education. In the next step, the difference in opinion according to income was investigated using the Wilcoxon test. Only in the dimension of pursuing virtual education, there was a difference between the opinions of parents with different incomes, and no difference was observed in the other seven dimensions. Also, the difference of opinions according to educational qualification showed that different educational qualifications did not make a significant difference in parents' expectations
